YMCA Child Care of Regina offers child care services that have been designed to meet the needs of our community.  Whether you are inquiring about infant care, preschool or care for a child with diverse needs we provide a program that enhances individual development of the “whole” child.  Dedicated to quality service, our focus is on the family and the importance of providing a stimulating, nurturing and secure environment.

Recently our centres were assessed and attained YMCA “Playing to Learn” status a first of its kind in the province of Saskatchewan

Quality Statement

The YMCA of Regina provides high quality child care programs so parents feel comfortable leaving their children  in our hands.  Positive family relations, research in our field and many years of experience has assisted us in defining our quality checklist:

• Developmentally appropriate and stimulating activities are implemented by our highly trained Early Childhood Educators.
• Physical activities, including Gym and swim times, are an important component of our programming.
• Outdoor activities and gross motor play take place in well equipped play areas.
• Equipment and toys are chosen to provide stimulation, interest and imagination for more child led activities.
• Children are taught the values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility and inclusiveness towards all living things.

All of our licensed child care facilities provides and environment filled with opportunities.  With the implementation of the “Playing to Learn” curriculum we are able to not only capture those “Ahh moments” but translate them into a learning process. 

We welcome families to spend time at our centres, participate on out Parent Advisory Committees and share their talents and expertise.
